Adjacent to St. Andrews State Park, the 7-mile long barrier island of Shell Island is completely undeveloped, which means it has some of the most pristine white sands in all of the Florida Panhandle! Marine life is plentiful and dolphins are common in this area, too.
Since you can only reach Shell Island via water, you’ll need to either kayak, book a jet ski or boat tour, or take the Shell Island Shuttle. (We did the jet ski tour.)
You’ll find the Shell Island Shuttle at Adventure at Sea, located at 5709 N. Lagoon Drive in Panama City Beach. It leaves every half-hour from 9am to 5pm in the summer and the last shuttle out is at 3pm.
Really had a nice time at Sandestin with our family being able to stay under one roof! Thanks Eric for being a great host and communicator.
Excellent host, property, and location. Our beach stay was perfect Property was clean and ready for our family. Can’t wait till we return next year. Definitely recommend it
We’ve rented from Eric three times now. His properties are very accurately described and look just like the photos. They are always super clean. Eric is very friendly and responsive. Book your vacation with 100% confidence!
Excellent host, property, and location. Our beach stay every year! Property always clean and ready for our family. Can’t wait till we return next year.
This is the 4th year we have booked the home on Boardwalk in Sandestin. We love the space and area the home affords our family and the layout is perfect. We can house our parents, kids, and ourselves and all have space to watch tv separately. There is also plenty of space to host friends and other family staying at the resort with the open floor plan!
